LifeVac Training

Although LifeVac is simple and easy to use, every version of LifeVac comes with a step by step detailed instruction booklet and a BLS leaflet or poster. We do offer three different types of training to suit your requirements.

Face To Face Training:

We have trained 100’s of people in the use of LifeVac and face to face training is a popular option. These training sessions can vary in size to suit your staffing needs and to minimise any disruption to your daily schedule.  From 5 people in a session to 40 people in a session and from 1 session a day to 5 sessions a day each person will be trained on the use of LifeVac. Face to face training can be carried out in any location throughout the UK to suit you. LifeVac training covers how LifeVac works and how to use LifeVac in an emergency situation when a casualty is sitting (in a wheelchair), standing or laying down and BLS has failed. Each person is shown how to easily identify the correct sized mask with their colour coded rings and place them into the LifeVac. They then get to use the LifeVac on one of our choking Charlie manikin’s and dislodge the bolus inside Charlies airway. When the training session is complete and every trainee feels comfortable in the use of LifeVac to save a life each person receives a training certificate from us for your compliance records.

Train The Trainer Training (TTTT)

We have worked with some of the largest care providers in the UK and these care providers have chosen for their first aid instructors to be trained in the use of LifeVac, who then go and train each care home in their designated area. Larger care providers choose this option so that they can carry out their own in house training. When we carry out Train The Trainer Training, the training covers how to use LifeVac in an emergency situation when a casualty is sitting (in a wheelchair), standing or laying down and BLS has failed. Each Trainer is shown how to easily identify the correct sized mask with their colour coded rings and place them into the LifeVac. They then get to use the LifeVac on one of our choking Charlie manikin’s and dislodge the bolus inside Charlies airway. When the first aid training instructor is confident in the use of LifeVac and how to train people in the use of LifeVac they are then issued with a training certificate stating that we authorise them to train people in the use of LifeVac. These TTTT sessions can be any size and carried out anywhere in the UK to suit your requirements.

Training Videos For In House Training & Refresher Training

We provide free downloadable training videos and free video links on the use of LifeVac. As LifeVac is very simple to use, some care providers have chosen this option to carry out their own in house training or to complement the training we have already provided for refresher training for new members of staff.

Each one of these options has been used to save a life when BLS has failed, we pride ourselves in each training option provided. You can choose from one or all three to suit your requirements. We are always here to help you, so please contact us with any questions you may have.
